Being able to just whip your phone out and take care of a quick job is one of the best things about mobile technology. Whether that’s an email, a quick bit of shopping or liking the latest picture of your friend’s dog.
Sorting out your parking should be another one of those quick and easy jobs.
Thankfully, paying using your phone is really easy.
What are mobile payments?
The name says it all really, they’re the ability to pay for your parking using your phone.
You can do that through our app or an online portal, so you have some choice when it comes to interacting with a car park.
The whole idea is to get rid of queues, so when you arrive on a car park there’s less faffing about, just a couple of taps on your phone and your parking is sorted. No hunting down change, no hoping the payment machine is working.
How does it work?
Typically, you’ll open the app, enter the location code for the car park you’re in, which you can find on handy signs all over the car park.
Select the length of time you want to stay for, then either select your vehicle from a list that’s already saved or enter your registration number. That ties your parking to your car.
Confirm your payment and you’re ready to go.
